Hi. Yes. They left a retro-reflector that we bounce a laser onto. Any light that hits the reflector is bounced back in the direction it came from. We can't see the flag because we are looking straight down on it... ( that's an old astronomers joke!)

Mirrors on the moon are used to reflect a laser back to Earth. This is also used to show the Moon's wobble from the last major meteor impact seen from Earth. There is not a telescope large enough to resolve such a short distance on the moon. Hubble can resolve a 100 meters on the moon. However, this is not enough to show us that we were there.

The answer is no. So if you want to disprove the conspiracy theorists, you're out of luck.

But like the first guy said, a retro reflector was left behind. It is used to calculate the distance of the moon from the earth. Just shoot a laser at it and count how long it takes to return and presto, you get a precise distance measurement.

Yes, there were retroreflector mirrors left on the moon, and these are being routinely used to measure the distance to the moon and thereby test the theory of General Relativity.

We have left stuff on the moon such as a flag which we can not see, and the lunar rover and other equipment. I think that we did leave a mirror for bouncing lasers. We do have rock samples we brought back.

No telescopes are that powerful, because you are looking for something so small from somewhere far away. That would be like trying to see a flea on a dog that is standing 10 ft away.

The really big telescopes can only see features that are a mile and a half or more in diameter.

We can't "see", with our eyes, through a telescope, any physical evidence, but we can bounce lasers off of retroreflectors that were left behind.

So we can "detect" evidence, but not exactly "see" it.

yes, they left all kinds of junk when they where there, beer cans,a wrecked lunar rover,( they were all drunk and rolledit ) ect....you need a 600 power telescope to see it,slobs
