I have been on birth control for 6-7 years. I stopped taking them about 2 weeks ago. Since then, my uterus area is just in constant pain. It feels sort of bruised and sore. Could it be something serious or is my body just reacting to the lack of medication?

I am from California. I am basically a Southerner at heart and love accents and am slightly right of center politically and Christian. I have had Southern friends all my life. I have been to D.C., Baltimore, Florida and Louisiana. If I move to NC would there be any cultural "shocks" I need to be aware of now, or "deal-killers" that might prevent me from being able to adjust to life in the Tarheel State? Thank ya kindly.

I was being an idiot, resetting my ipod and pushing buttons,
and when the apple screen showed up, i pushed the fast forward button, and now it wont turn on.
it just shows the apple logo, and then has the folder with the exclaimation point, with the words: www.apple.com\ipod\support or something.
Is there any way to fix this, i tried reseting it, and booting it to disk mode and diagnostic mode, disk mode just says : ok to disconnect, and diagnostic mode doesnt work.
is there any way to fix this?
PS i have an ipod mini, and the warranty is long expired.

I'm moving from Ontario to Alberta. I have a Bearded Dragon Lizard (about one foot long from nose to tail) and I don't want to leave him behind. I trust my parents and brother to take care of him but I'm gonna miss my Beardie. Any ideas on how to get him out there with out having to deal with nasty airplane rules ad regulations?

I have been having severe pains in both my legs for years now, it hurts to even walk sometimes, and the Dr's that I've seen before all looked at me like I was crazy when I described my ailment, so I waited till I came stateside and went to more Dr's I've seen a podiatrist, had tons of bloodwork done and x-rays, and they don't know what's going on so they're sending me to a rheumatologist, I just don't like going into a situation without knowing what to expect. Any experiences would be helpful. Thanks

i walked out on my violent husband about 21 months ago and didnt take my 2 kids with me (now aged 10 & 14). i deeply regret it and have done for a long time. My ex stopped me from having any friends or any contact with my family so at the time i had no where to go and no money cos he took control of it all. i felt as though i had no choice. Luckily my dad was there for me and gave me support and looking back, i could have took kids with me. I had 6 month battle just to get to see my kids but didnt get residency of them. I'm about to start fighting for them again cos the 6 months are up! i know people automatically judge me for leaving my kids without knowing the full reasons behind it. I do feel that i shouldnt have left them but i knew their dad would never hurt them. I love my kids dearly and only did what i thought was best for them at the time.

how do i help the feeling of inferiority i get when i am getting intimate with my bf (who has slept with four girls).. when i am a virgin who has only given hand jobs so far?

weve been together almost a year, we havent had sex, he has never pressured me, he has never made me feel lower or inferior...it is something i feel myself. i guess bc i am competitive by nature and i want to be "ahead in the race".. i want to be the one with the experience and advantage..but i am in love with him so im not going to just leave him for a virgin to gain experience from --thats unrealistic

how do i get rid of the inferiority that i feel when we are getting closer to more sexual things?

Ground school lots of horses - mainly parelli. Every horse seems to pick it up in the first session, BUT my 1 1/2 year QH gelding that I have had since birth, is so tame and laid back and despooked, doesn't want to participate in any training. Encouragement with my whip and stick doesn't work - just acts like it is a small nuisance and is definitely not scared. Could he be so tame and gentle he won't learn, or could he be "not smart". First one I ever had like this.

I am a senior in high school and want to serve in the Air Force before I die. I hope to be either a patent lawyer or a business lawyer some day. This means I have to get an undergrad degree in engineering or business and then go to law school. So I basically have three choices:

Join the military now as a paralegal, which would give me some experience in law and would give me some time to grow up before high school. I could take some classes while on active duty, then finish up my degree afterwards. The +'s of this are getting out to see the world early, and the military discipline would help me in college. The Air Force needs more paralegals, so I could probably get this job.

Or, I could do college now and participate in AFROTC. Then I would get to be an officer, but I'd have less choice as to what job I'd get. I couldn't be a paralegal, and the AF already has enough finance people. But I would get officers privileges and pay.

Finally, I could go to college and law school, the
