I was just wondering if there was a big difference in the graphics between having it hooked up to a hd tv or a regular tv. Also what is everyone's opinion on the 360? Should I wait a till the PS3 comes out?

I made the jump from a gamecube to a 360 before the E3 show, to get some value from the gamecube while it was still worth something. I have been extremely happy with the 360, mostly I play need for speed most wanted and ncaa football 2007. I don't have a HDTV, but the graphics are very good - crisper and clearer than the gamecube, and the ability to hit the xbox live site to download demos is so amazingly cool. I've been playing the lost planet demo constantly.

The PS3 might be the best thing since sliced bread, or it could suck worse than the commodore 64. Actually, at the time the commodore was pretty cool. Anyway, I think you'd be better off going with the 360 rather than waiting for the ps3 and paying 200.00 more, when you can finally get one. Blu-Ray is a huge gamble, and there's no gurantee that it will be the real "next thing". Think rubick's cube.

After a lot of studying, I think the xbox system (including the xbox live online system) Is much better thought out, marketed, and executed than anything Sony has been able to do to present. Backward compatibility is a huge plus, though both systems will allegedly be able to do this. I've played about a dozen original xbox games on the 360. That alone is worth it, since the 360's games are 60.00 a pop. The rumor for the ps3 games is between 69 and 80 a pop. Not confirmed though.

Of course, it's just my opinion. I would do a lot of research and stuff, especially if you're going to drop $600.00 on a videogame system with one controller and no games.

I have a 360 and its completely awesome and i love it. The only problem with the PS3 is that they are going to be in very short supply when they release...only 400,000 are going to be out when they were wanting to have over 3 mil. I would mainly choose which platform you want by which games you want to play...if your a huge halo person, or xbox game person obviously get a 360, but if your more of a metal gear solid or PS2 person get a PS3 (if you can find one) but the graphics on both are going to be pretty much the same.

We can't tell the difference. Also there are very few games for 360. You can download the "fix" to play regular games on it, but there are very few available. I would wait.

The only difference of a HDTV to a regular one is the image is a little sharper. You will be able to notice it but only a little.
