A flat square sheet of thin aluminum foil, 25cm on a side carries a uniformly distributed 35nC charge. What, approximately is the electric field (a) 1.0 cm above the sheet and (b) 20m above the sheet?

Should I calculate the electric field
(σA)/ε0 which is: [(35*10^-9C)(.25m)^2] / 8.85*10^-12 = 2.5*10^2

If that is correct how do I find out what the field is at each distance.

Do I use the E=(kQ)/(r^2) formula? When using this it seems to generate a larger field at 1cm (3.15*10^6) than the field at the origin 2.15*10^2 and 20m gives 7.9 *10^-1.

Any help is appreciated...

Why is it that whenever you want to try to prove that Americans are inferior, you always bring up the point that most Europeans have passports, while few Americans do? Have you ever taken the time to look at a map? Are you aware that travelling, as I did a few months back, from Maryland on the east coast, to Texas, just HALFWAY across the country, is the same distance as going from Spain to Russia?

And has it ever occurred to you that most of our states are larger than all of your countries? Yeah, if I lived in Belgium, I'd practically need a passport just to go to the grocery store, and vacation time is pretty boring if you are stuck in a country the size of our largest city. Americans, however, can travel freely across a nation larger than your entire continent. Plus, we can freely travel to the two countries that border us. Why do we need passports except to fly over there and put up with the insufferable snobbery from you arrogant twits?

Get over your false cosmopolitanism.

Friends that you consider 'good friends' ? I have one friend that get's a little weird when it comes to calling back people. Like a power trip. I wanted to find something out about this guy we work with...that i'm interested in...she was at work late with a bunch of people including him. I called her later on that nite and she didn't return the call. I know she was home too... She knew I wanted to ask questions about him...She returned my call NEXT day.. late afternoon so I never asked my curious questions about him. Is she a friend or someone on a power trip ? This isn't the first time either...When she has info to give she makes you wait...Everyone has been in a stiuation where your waiting for a
call either for a serious situation or just something your dying to find out about. What's up with that ????

I really don't want to post this here but I'm getting really frusturated.

To start it off, I'll just say I'm a pretty chubby girl few months back. I was like maybe 60kg then. And then, I start to diet. At first it was good, I control myself not to eat. Maybe I eat like 2 slice of bread a day and within weeks, people notice that I've slim down.

However as time goes by, I begin to eat less and less. Sometimes only 4 teaspoons of porridge a day and I'm getting paranoid about what I eat and the slightest feeling of fullness upset me. When I feel full, I'll get extremely guilty that I actually ate something and I'll start to binge which for sure follow by purge or self induce vomitting later on. I tried numerous times to stop but each time when I get sad or stress I'll start to binge and do it again.

I'm starting to get really skinny now as I weight only 99 pounds and I'm 166cm.

Do I need help to stop this? I really don't want my parents to know bout this...
