Friends that you consider 'good friends' ? I have one friend that get's a little weird when it comes to calling back people. Like a power trip. I wanted to find something out about this guy we work with...that i'm interested in...she was at work late with a bunch of people including him. I called her later on that nite and she didn't return the call. I know she was home too... She knew I wanted to ask questions about him...She returned my call NEXT day.. late afternoon so I never asked my curious questions about him. Is she a friend or someone on a power trip ? This isn't the first time either...When she has info to give she makes you wait...Everyone has been in a stiuation where your waiting for a
call either for a serious situation or just something your dying to find out about. What's up with that ????

I think that you may have been anxious to hear from her and so you are miffed for not getting an earlier call back.
Perhaps she was tired when she returned home that night, or she wasn't home when you called and by the time she did come in, it was too late to call.
Get over it.

Perhaps your friend is also interested in the same guy. That would explain why she doesn't want you to know anything about him. It could also be a power trip for her. Either way she's not much of a friend.

first of all i think you should just not add 1 on 1 n assume things,shes your friend take her by face value but still if u feel she does this on purpose then just go ahead n have a chat with her on the same n tell her how irritating it is for u to take such an attitude.....if she improves good for you but if she continues then i guess understand her behaviour n dont expect from her!!

Yes, I've called friends many times over the past year. They haven't called back yet.
They also have said " your friendship means alot to me , don't lose that " . But, I call, they don't call back

Maybe you should just relax, its not the end of the world, and just because your waiting to hear from her, doesn 't mean all her time is free to be able to tell you.

Honey it sounds to me like your friend needs to be dropped like a bad habit. Sounds like to me that she may be a little jealous or she may be interested inthe same guy. Have you discussed this with her?

i dont know but i feel your pain.Its so f*cking frustrating and always leaves me blowing steam!
Maybe they just enjoy it coz it probably makes them feel important or something?Beats me!
