How many ways is it possible to remove hair from these areas? What are they called? Can you please explain each one in detail and precision...and tell me which choice you use (or would use) and why?

You can shave it (cheap and easy, but you have to do it every couple of days)

You can use a dilapatory cream (again, cheap and easy, but there's a possibility that it will irritate your skin, and you have to wait until it's somewhat grown out before you can use it)

You can wax it (Lasts a lot longer than shaving or creams, but it hurts and, again, you have to wait until the hair is pretty grown out before you can do it)

or, you can laser it off. (Lasering hurts a little, but it lasts forever if you get enough treatments. I have a friend that has lasered her underarms and her "down there" area, and I think she said it cost about a hundred dollars to get rid of all of the hair so it will never come back)

Let me answer this from a licensed cosmetologist side. There are always the basics.
First shaving which is best done at the end of your shower (this gives the hair time to absorb water and soften making shaving easier) and using a clear shaving cream. Try not save over any areas already shaved once and replace blade about every 3-4 shaves.
Second is waxing. If you are going to use an at home waxing kit, be sure it is a well known brand. You do get what you pay for. The best are warm waxes, they tend to cling to the hair better than cold waxes do. However, be careful not to get the wax too hot, you don't want to burn yourself. How to wax? make sure the area is clean and dry (any lotions or dirt could affect the effectiveness of the wax), apply in the direction of the hair growth, apply strip, and pull in the opposite direction. Warning, this may be a bit painful. If you can't handle pain, do not attempt to wax around the time of your period, and take an aspirin 30 minutes before waxing session. For best results, see a spa.
Third, is depilatories (i.e. Nair, Sally Henson), which are creams that are applied to hair, essentially dissolving it if you will. This is pain free and lasts 3-5 days, depending on hair type and body area. Be sure not to use soap on the treated area after wards for about 24 hours.
Fourth is Laser. This is the most costly way of removal. The entire process takes 1.5 to 2 years to complete. And requires about 6-8 sessions, each about 10-14 weeks apart on average. In the session (performed at a doctors office) a cool gel is applied to the area, a laser is used it destroy the root. It may feel like a hot pinch, but it is over in a split second. The end result is that you will be hair free forever! This is the treatment I am undergoing currently, and I'm loving the results. Be sure that if you do choose this option, make sure the clinic guarantees the results for at least 2 years after the end of the treatments. American Laser Centers offer this guarantee in writing. If you go anywhere where they don't, turn and walk away.

Hope this helps

I'm not quite sure of ALL of the ways. But I find it best to shave, I was reading a magazine once, and they were talking about how vett, or nair. (hair removing cream) contaain ingredients that might give you skin cancer, since these products go down into your skin to make your hair either grow not as fast, and remove the hair. Or atleast I know that nair limits hair growth. So I just shave. But there is also waxing which is a bit painful, but worth it. if you want to wax, then during the winter, when you dont wear shorts and skirts, just grow the hair out, ( on your legs I mean ) and then before spring you could get it waxed. It is better than shaving every 2 or 3 days. But I only do it once in a while, otherwise I stick with shaving. And I don't think that you could get your underarms waxed.. I think that area is too sensitive. So i just shave there too :-)

Nair- Its this shaving cream stuff you put where ever the hair is and then wash it off
Shaving- Just a plain razor either in the shower or with lotion
Waxing- Go to a waxing saloon the maelt wax on u then rip it off when it dries
Laser hair removel- it cost a lot of money, but the hair never grows back

I personaly like nair because it last longer that shaving (about a week), it is inexspensive, and u dont have to worry about cuts!!! if u want some, u can buy it cheap from most drugstores. good luck!!!!

for legs:

you can shave: where you use a razor to shave off the hairs on your legs.
nair or veet: it's a cream that basically melts your hair...
waxing: where you use a sticky substance and fabric to rip out your hair.
laser: i've heard of laser hair removal, but you need to see a specialist for that. and it's reallyyyy expensive, but it gets rid of your hair.

my choice is waxing.

it hurts a lot more than the others, but it doesn't grow back as quickly. unlike shaving, your hair won't become rough and scratchy. i don't really think nair is safe..i mean if it can "melt" your hair, it must be really bad for you. and laser, i don't really have the money.

for Underarms:

everything is the same for underarms..except
plucking: where you use a tweezer and pluck your underarm hairs.

i personally choose plucking.

it doesn't hurt at all when you pluck. your underarm hair won't become rough and scratchy either. it's extremely easy and all you need is a tweezer and a mirror!

hope that helps!
good luck :)

So far no one has mentioned epilation. Epilation uses something similar to an electric razors where the blades grab the hair and pull it out by the root.

Pros: Inexpensive, can last weeks, done in-home, hair grows in feeling less coarse, much less messy than waxing with similar results.

Cons: Very painful for first time or two, have to wait for hair to be long enough for blades to grasp.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Shaving is the traditional way....easiest and cheapest ; just need a razor and shaving cream or soap

chemical creams remove hair but are often smelly and irritating

waxing is another but often painful and difficult

laser removal is expensive and expensive

I just shave. I have sensitive skin so chemical removers are out

Lazar hair treatment, It has dropped in cost tremendously and it works very well.
Legs and underarms, I had it done on my bikini area, I had 4 treatments each was 100 and worked. Waxing would work but under the arms would be torture!!
