I was recently watching a documentary on TV and this American gentleman was building himself a "real fine custom motorcycle"(yawn). He said "I can't wait to see the audience's reaction when I wheel THIS into the arena".....

Well, I for one correctly predicted the audience's reaction- they started howling and whooping like baboons.

This is an interesting cultural phenomenon because European audiences certainly DON'T whoop. Does anyone know the origin and purpose of this howling and whooping, and when it started? Am I right in thinking it only started in the mid- eighties?

i developed a program in delphi6, it connects to the MS Access database (using ADO approach)on the same pc, i established the connection (ADOConn - Datasource - ADOTable-DBgrid-DBnavigator) at designtime and successfully compile, build and able to run it.

by the time i transfer the whole folder(Where all the projects and files needed together with the MS Access .mdb) on another pc without delphi, when i click the .exe (i sure it is) it doesnt run, nor returns any error message...what seems to be the problem?

blue october?? hate me today?? When i was a teenager we had smashing pumpkins and Nirvana. yeah, I they might of been dark and moody at times, but the music got me thought hard times. This crap today has nothing musically appealing and the writing is terrible bah..... american rejects and the other emo suck vocal band dont appeal at all, even if they do have a decent musical approch, I can stomach MCR and fall out boy, but when are we going to see better material??? i know these guys can rock out,

i had a UTI just after i got married 2 yrs before. it was treated time and again but not cured fully. several anti biotics were taken. one week before i had the same symptoms and consulted my permanent doctor. on culture it was found that KLEBSIELLA was present in 50000 colonies (with 2-3 pus cells). earlier it was 1000000 or so. doctor said now it was normal. i went to a nephrologyst also who certified i have no complaint with my kidnies. repeated consumption of medicines (presumably) have increased my body weight from 47 to 68 in last 2 yrs and creates swelling on my legs. no fever or shivering but only pain while urinating (not always)
