If people in the Middle-East hate America so much, why do they insist on using American currency?

Hezbollah handing out American 100$ bills??? Why don't they use Syrian or Iranian money?

American money is backed by the American govt. Do they have more faith in the American govt. than the Syrian govt.?

Because Iranian and Syrian money is bacially worthless and American money is the best to use around the world plus the money is used easier on the black market then the other currencies. Plus when you do change AMerican money for their own money you can get more.

Cos the Americans love Middle east Oil and have nothing other than US Dollars to pay for that.

So the more u love Middle east Oil the more u will see US dollars in Middle east unless u take a path like Iraq where u get it if u spent some cheap bullets and missiles.

Don't worry, they'll stop using the US dollar. The US economy is tanking and by 2010 the Euro will be the world's trading currency, not the US dollar. That's one of the reasons the US invaded Iraq, Saddam was going to switch currencies.
