I'm an HP and am very good at astrology. In general I'd say no - but your sun sign is NOT your most evident feature.
Find out what time both of you were born (because the rising & the moon are more powerful than your Venus)...
Ok, this is easy to remember: in Astrology
The Sun - is you, it's who you are inside your soul
Your Rising Sign - is who the world thinks you are, your mask to the world
Moon - What you NEED.
Mercury - How you express yourself
Venus - What you want.
Mars - how you operate (work at it)
Jupiter - your good luck
Saturn - your karma
the rest are generational planets...

I'm an Aries. once a Virgo told 'I feel I fall in love with you'. I've never seen him from that day. maybe you are maybe you're not but keep your eyes open. in fact I don't believe in such things but it happened.
