Does the usage of earphones / earplugs / stereo headsets increase ear wax ?

no it doesn't but if your ears are wet from a shower or something blocking up the ear canal could cause a mildew smell. also, if you're wearing them a lot your ears may have trouble working the wax out of the canal thus making you think you have more wax. If you're worried about wax go to the doctor and have it professioinally cleaned out. Putting q-tips in your ears will only pack the wax too far in the canal. This could cause a more serious medical condition(ie conductive hearing loss from impaction, perforated or irritated ear drum etc...)

No.. there are NO studies that prove that earphones increases wax in the ears.

no. but puting those things will make you aware that you have a lot of wax stock in there. you need to clean up bro!
