Are they checking to see if you are some sort of pedophile or sicko or are they looking into your driving record, i.e. dui's, reckless driving, etc. and how far back are they going to check? Is this really necessary and legal? Some places want to do background checks, credit checks, drug testing, etc. for jobs that only pay about $10 hour. Anyone know?

I have been doing this for a while now but it has gotten epsecially worst since I've had my daughter. My daughter is now 9 months and mostly sleeps through the night. When she was about 2 months, she would only sleep for 1-2 hours and then wake up. It seems my body has gotten used to waking up in 3-4 hours now and I can't seem to break the habbit. I would lay there for about 1-2 minutes until I fall back to sleep, but why do I keep going through this process of waking every 3-4 hours. I do the same thing on the weekend. I don't eat/drink late, I tire myself out through the day, I go the bathroom before bed but nothing seems to help keep my asleep. I wake up so tired EVERY morning because my sleep is constantly being broken. This to me sounds like a sleeping disorder, or what do you guys think? Should I ask my doctor for sleeping pills?

Also, I think the fact that I have a small bladder problem contributes to the fact of me waking up because I have to use the bathroom.

My daughter is 3 years old. In june said she slammed her finger in a door, though she never complained of it. Ine day we noticed her finger nail swollen, green and black with puss oozing out of it. It only got worse. We went to the doctor and he burned a hole in it and the nail fell off. Well, now shes getting the same thing again! Its covered 1/3 of her nail on one finger and on another hand she has it starting and its the size of the tip of a pen. Her doctor insists she has had trauma or a splinter and to let it work its way out. But, if it just spreads how will it work its way out? I am scared that my daughters finger nails will fall off one by one. Any advice would be great. I also have picutes I can e-mail.

Just come back from a holiday in Kos and a summer chill out CD of some kind was playing in the bar, Irish apparently, and track 8 was a really chilled, mellow tune that seemed to be called Island Symphony. A southwest Idaho county filed a racketeering lawsuit against agricultural companies accused of hiring illegal immigrants - an attempt to recoup money the county says it has spent on the workers.

The lawsuit by Canyon County commissioners alleges four agricultural companies and a nonprofit have taken part in an "illegal immigrant hiring scheme," and that the county has paid the cost of medical care, jails and schools.
