I have been doing this for a while now but it has gotten epsecially worst since I've had my daughter. My daughter is now 9 months and mostly sleeps through the night. When she was about 2 months, she would only sleep for 1-2 hours and then wake up. It seems my body has gotten used to waking up in 3-4 hours now and I can't seem to break the habbit. I would lay there for about 1-2 minutes until I fall back to sleep, but why do I keep going through this process of waking every 3-4 hours. I do the same thing on the weekend. I don't eat/drink late, I tire myself out through the day, I go the bathroom before bed but nothing seems to help keep my asleep. I wake up so tired EVERY morning because my sleep is constantly being broken. This to me sounds like a sleeping disorder, or what do you guys think? Should I ask my doctor for sleeping pills?

Also, I think the fact that I have a small bladder problem contributes to the fact of me waking up because I have to use the bathroom.

am not an expert in sleeping but i do know some stuff. our sleep is categorize in 3 stages. 1. REM 2. Light Sleep 3. Deep Sleep.

when we are in our 3rd stage which is the deep sleep, our brain waves emit delta-waves. there is a product that emits delta waves and resonates with our delta waves and fast forward us to the deep sleep.

i am currently using it. it is just a pillow pad where i put it on top of my pillow. it has greatly improve my sleep and i wake up feeling fresher and more energetic. email me at fyrdaus_is@yahoo.com for more info.
Sweet dreams!

I think you need to take in more water , just to try and see if this is the problem. Yes it seems like you have grown accustomed to waking up on those hours, but its perfectly normal. You might wanna hire an extra hand so you can grab some shut eye.
I dont recommend the sleeping pills, when you wake up you'll be more tired than usual.

yep.. been there myself.. Your body is still adjusting...
Talk to your doctor... Maybe a lite sleeping pill for a couple of days could help.

Also have yourself checked out.. Talk to your doctor.!! Tell them everything..

PS if you can
When your daughter naps.. you should nap too.
Being over tired at night can cause problems. Try lite nap, say about an hour. Set an alarm...

I'm like that too, I never see the doctor about it, I try not to take naps during the day, and just force myself to stay really tired, so I get good night sleep.

I have the same problem! Try melatonin about 30 minutes before you want to fall asleep. It works wonders. I take 3mg. It is safe and nonprescription.
