The movie with Rod Taylor and Yvette Mimieux. I have always enjoyed this movie. Anyone else remember it and what are your thoughts on the movie?

Throughout the history and particularly recently, it has been demonstrated that the people of USA most controlled people through their corporate media. Moreover, most Americans are in private employment, who are habituated to obey the order from their corporate bosses. Their is no democratic system in their entire day, and hence they dont know what freedom is. They are TOLD by their media that they are MOST FREE people in the world and they NEVER felt free to question it. Their Government has been drastically curtailing even day to day movement and communication in "War against Terror" and there is no significant protest. NO OTHER NATION WOULD HAVE TOLERATED THIS.

I've heard that a CS degree is worthless if you don't have the work experience and/or programming know-how to back it up. I'm now in my senior year, but I have no work experience and almost no real programming experience. My school doesn't have any internships.

I bought Final Fantasy XI (Inc. Chains of Promathiand Rise of the Zilart Expansion Packs) for the PC from Amazon.co.uk because it said game and expansion packs etc - but then I read that I have to pay around £10 a month to play the game.
Is this true? They didn't tell me this on Amazon.co.uk.

That our world is inside a cell of a giant person and our earth year is like 1 second of the giant persons life!
And if we keep polluting our planet that is his cell it could be like cancer and we will recieve radiotherapy that will kill off our planet?

She may do one on Cain and Abel. This book is about Adam and Eve. How many countries - or communities, schools, etc - ban her book for putting her spin on these classic stories? Maybe this is like Plato who put his own spin on (non-writer?) Socrates. Any paralels to Aniken Skywalker becoming Darth Vader in Star Wars?
