ok, knowing that melanoma is the fatal type of skin cancer... does it matter where its found? like with other cancers if its like anywhere near your spine or something then its a lot worse than anywhere else. is it the same with melanoma? does the place of the cancer make it worse or is it just that you have it kinda thing?

Aren't people what make swear words swear words? Now people use them like they're not. People decide what the swear words are, so they change through time. It's not like there's some Bible or Constitution that officially determines timeless swear words. I mean, in the old days, "devil" used to be a curse word as in "who the devil are you?" Now it's not. Do you think the same with "f*ck" and "sh*t" because now people use them as regular words- so do you think they'll officially become no longer profane and some new swear words will come along?

If someone hurts me.......I have the tendency to "write them off". I will still talk to them but as far the friendship goes it's over. Would you consider his unforgiveness? or not?

e.g. one of my girlfriends, that I had been there for through thick and thin, deserted me when she found a man and nowadays she is trying to be friends again. I still talk to her but I don't call her or get close as before.

ok my boyfriend and i have been going out for 7 months. almost 8. we keep deciding that we're not going to do anything anymore [like sexual, we're both still virgins, we just do oral and stuff] but when we're together we just turn each other on so much. sometimes i try to say no but then he gets all said. and it makes me feel bad. ive told him not to do that anymore because it doesnt make it any easier for me to say no. he agreed to stop, but every once in awhile hell still do it. and i want to do stuff but i just dont want people to find out. and dont sugest to break up with him. because i refuse to. just suggestions on different ways to tell him how i feel?

I recently started working at a company where my supervisor is Russian. He is also a landlord and has rented me an apartment. When I told a few friends his name, they said, isn't that name Russian? And then they reacted kind of weird?

When I explained he was a nice guy, and asked what was the problem, they shrugged it off and said nevermind. I'm not a prejudice person, and don't see what could have been their problem. Can any of you tell me how Russians are viewed here in the states? Why would they act weird after I told them this? Thanks
