My son is very unusual. He is 20 years old and currently studying philosophy and religion for his degree. He is undergoing quite an intense personal journey and feels he is 'onto something big' but doesn't know what it is yet. He is as much a pacifist in daily life as he is politically, is sensitive and feels very strongly about the state of the contemporary world. I would like to give him a very meaningful book that would help him find 'this something big'. It will need to engage him on an intellectual level. Please give me some suggestions, along with your reasons. Thankyou

After 6 months my girlfriend's Ex, whom she remains friends with, calls her a dozen times a day, at all hours, wanting to chat, know where she is, who she is with, etc. He told her recently that he still thinks that they will wind up together, but she told me not to worry because she thinks he will get over it. He yells at her, belittles her, me, and our relationship, and has physically grabbed her, held her, and tried to kiss her several times recently. I'm at my wits end because the guy seems to be genuinely crazy, borderline stalker, yet she refuses to push him away and still wants to chat on the phone with him and "hang out" with him a couple times a week.. Am I overreacting for being extremely upset about this??? What should I do???

I am an 80's fan I grew up in the 80's and loved almost all the comedys from John Candy and Steve Martin etc...and cartoons like Jogi bear and Jabber Jaw(the Hannah Barbara cartoons) just wanting other peoples opinion if your a late 70's and all the 80's fan.

All of a sudden she says she has these convictions from God. We have been living together and all of a sudden she says that she still wants to date me, but wwe can't have sex until we are married.

I think that since she started it that way that she should keep it going that way and care about how I feel.

I mean what is just a little while longer of having sex? No big deal right? God will forgive her? We are getting married soon so she should just keep having sex with me.

im leaving for basic training sept 12 2006, and my wife has been in for about 2 and 1/2 yrs already, i was cool with her leave and didnt really stress the whole time she was gone except for when she had just left. she is really hurting about me leaving even though it is all for a good cause. im going army and she i air force but has 4 yrs left im going in for 6yrs. we have a 3yr old boy, and i am dedicated to her, and its hard toknow where i will be but i want her head to be in the right place. we are both 23yrs old. been together since 16, got married at 18 had a baby at 20, and went to the same elemenatry, jr high and high school. i dont know what to do. i am going to take care of my family but try to understand my situation.
I NEED FEMALE INFO ON WHAT I COULD DO DURING SCHOOL TO MAKE YOU FEEL COMFY? I WANT HER TO NOT WORRY. HELP, WOMEN?

Cooking, cleaning, and some grocery shopping required. Must be punctual, consistent, and present. Subject is quiet and very easy going. She is a sweetie. Current caregiver must go. please no herbal suggestions or therepy i have been through that, just straight up medication. i am on xanax but just started taking it. this is not one of those things where i can just exorcise to relax and it will go away. i get bad panic attacks and was just hospitilized for one recently. thinking about trying valium. any comments from people on valium would be appreciated.
