I'm guessing women in their 50's feel they are no longer desirable and distance themselves from the dating scene. My aunt (ex-aunt really, my uncle left her but we are still close) has been single 5 years, but is extremely hurt by her ex and I think she feels she is too old to find someone. Are for your sons, if they are in their 30's most women are married with kids. Just wait- half will be divorced soon. Also, do you live in a suburban area? I do, and it's hard finding people who are not living the American Lie. Try spending time in a city if that's the case.

There is no shortager of either.

Possibly you guys are not looking in the right places. Or maybe you are all being too picky and are looking for Mr. or Ms. Perfectionist.

Plus, there is of course the obvious question..."What do you all consider SUITABLE?"

I am not sure what the ratio of women is to men in the U.K. But I believe there are more women than men. You may be seeking the right one in the wrong places. - Try groc stores, churches, activities in the community. Good luck to you and you daughters.

You only need to meet the right ONE!

Maybe your family is just too fussy? On the other hand if you go out looking specifically for a certain thing your not likely to find it.

As soon as I decided to stop looking for love, love found me!

Because many women in their fifties have been damaged emotionally by men or by life experience. This often leads them to develop behaviour patterns that render them unsuitable.

Well, in reality there are slightly more (And I mean only slightly) more women in the UK than men. So they must all be hiding.

Or else - try a differnet venue.
