Okay, for the last few days my car was going "wher wher wher" when I tried to start it then it would "catch" and start. When this happened the clock would reset to 12:00. Now this morning it did the "wher" one pathetic time and now all it's doing is clicking... anyone have any ideas what's wrong with it? And prices on fixing it?
One guy at work said "sounds like your starters going" when he heard me starting it the other day. Now this morning a friend of mine told me the clock restarting and the clicking mean I need a new battery.

they are no longer living together(we are in uk by the way), he is named as father on both of the birth certificates. Things are getting really messy now, and they are beginning to hate each other(yes i know this is terrible for the children).
He has now said that he feels she is too "twisted" to be looking after the children, and he wants them.
He has been active in the girls lives, he has them to stay one night a week, he always pays maintenance, but he is still living with parents.
I have told my sister that i doubt anyone would give him custody, but she is worried that if she lets him have the girls(aged 2and 4) this weekend he might not bring them back!

could he do this, and if he does just take the girls, can she prevent him legally?
sorry if i seem ignorant but i do not know much about this!

Obviously, through grade school, I learned that heat rises, but it is a HUGE difference between upstairs and downstairs. Since this is my first home with Central A/C, I am not familiar with all the ins and out of it.

By the way, I was contemplating shutting off the vents in our bedroom and putting a window unit in, but we have those slider windows, not the "up and down" type. I am sure they make those kind of window air conditioners, but I am also sure they cost a pretty penny.
