I am going to be 17 in three weeks. and my wife will be 18 in two months. We live in Califrnia with her parents. We are expecting a child in three weeks. We went to vegas and our parents signed us over to be married. We have been told so many things. but we are still confused as to what our rights really are.

I am considering marrying the man I love. But what is holding me back is the fear of divorce. Half the population is divorced, and marriages constantly fail after one, five, or even twenty years. What causes so many marriages to fail after so many years? What can I do to avoid it? I want to do this right... I may be young (23), but I do not want to be foolish.

I asked the question to see what kinds of answers I would get, it was a joke.
However, most didn't answer my question. I asked how many here would like to whack at the harrassing unbelievers?
Al most all thought that I was the guy that wanted to whack at them.

The funniest answer that I got was the first one it was frm Joni B.
She said That doesn't seem very Holy to me. It tickled me so much I couldn't stop laughing. I laughed so hard tears came.

When is the USA going to grow up and admit they are not number 1 any more? Only thing America is number 1 in is crime. The USA is 24 in education, 17 in science, and 11 in technology for industrilized countries. Most of the country does not have any medical insurance and your poverity rate is among the highest for industrilized countries. Does a powerful army really make America so great? Is it freedome that makes you so great? Wait it cannot be since Europe, Canada, Austrailia, and other places also have freedom and a similar goverment. Why is America the greatest country again when there are some many other industrilized countries far ahead?

I asked for 2 days off work three weeks ago, and have just been told that I can't have them off (I have over 200 hrs holidays owing)
I wanted them off as I am moving house this weekend (I get the keys on sat afternoon.. so I wanted mon & tues off aswell as I am a single female that has to organise this move on my own and I don't have any family in my city to help me move..and friends can only help me sat arvo & sun arvo.. I have heard moving is one of lifes most stressfull experiences..This I am feeling already as I am awake till 2am everynight worrying how I am going to get this move done..Should I just make everyone at work happy and go in annoyed, stressed and pis**d off.. or should I just take the days off as sick leave even though they will know I'm only doing it to move,and unpack..and possibly get in trouble with the boss??(probably will).. I am stretched financially because of this move and cannot afford to pay removalists or lose my job.. what do you think I should do??

Look at the Galapagos finches, the birds that Darwin was inspired by. We can see how they've EVOLVED and adapted to their environment within the past 20 or so years. Other birds are coming in that eat large seeds. The finches can't eat those large seeds anymore, so they've developed smaller beaks so they can eat smaller seeds. Yet people still deny that evolution exists, even though the evidence is right under their noses. How ignorant and stupid can people be?
