A tattoo is not something you should go into lightly. Remember it is a permanent marking on your body. Make sure that when you do choose a tattoo it is something you want and has significant meaning to you. I would reccomend brainstorming ideas... selecting one... and then waiting a few weeks before actually getting one. The more personalized a tattoo the happier you will be... You do not want to go around having some generic tattoo that everyone else has. I would suggest you get an idea of a basic type of tattoo you are looking for and then go talk to a tattoo artist; they may be able to create a unique design that fits what you are looking for in a tattoo :)

As a tattoo artist, I'll point out that the wrist is a good place
for artwork, but only if you don't wear anything tight
or irritating there (bands, etc.). Also - if you place a name
there, let it be your kids or parents. Actually a wristband of
flowers, butterflies, leaves or whatever would go well
(with or without names). Good Luck.

be orginal, but if all else fails look thru books(tat books) most tattoo places have pics of tattos they have done, even look at those fake tattos in bubble gum machines. REmember this is going to be permant and can not be washed off.

I have a tatto on my wrist as well. I got it at 20. I went to get it done at 19 and couldn't decide what kind of design to get.So it took me a whole year.I finally chose to get a small heart w/ my brother's name it it.Since he was my twin who passed away.Basically I listened to my heart and chose and you should do the same as well. I also have one on my ankle it's a rose, one on my lower back.I know I sound like I have alot lol.I am hoping to maybe down the road get one on on my forearm with my 3 kids' and husband's names.Well best of luck with whatever you decide to get!!

in line with google: dogs, sheep, squirrel. heavily.......are you helpful you're waiting for a tattoo? i think of you need to circulate purchase a necklace or bracelet that pronounces have confidence on it fairly of having a tattoo. in case you do no longer already be conscious of the flaws that characterize have confidence to you then you definitely do no longer ought to completely mark your physique with it. and please don't get it in kanji the two b/c you may no longer 'have confidence' that.

Well don't do the name of a boyfriend or husband, because as much as you love them now-it may not last forever. What about the name of your kids?

Make sure it's something small enough that you can easily hide it with a watch or bracelet. I have a small star on mine and i love it!
