Two things to know before you read below: Marines are taught 1) Keep your priorities in order and 2) Know when to act without hesitation.


A Marine was attending a college course between missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. The professor, an avowed atheist, shocked the class one day when he walked in, looked toward the ceiling, and said loudly, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes."


The lecture room fell silent and the professor began his lecture. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God - still waiting."


It got down to the last minute when the Marine stood up, walked toward the professor and threw his best punch knocking him off the platform and out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat down.


The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence. The professor came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, "What the hell is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

I'm 5 weeks along and am extremely tired, urinate frequently, and am starting to get morning sickness. My breasts have yet to hurt but they are extremely itchy. It's wierd because my breasts usually hurt anyways (I'm 27 and they decided to start growing about half a year ago) but they aren't hurting now but they do appear to be getting bigger (just a little.)

you say to them that you see they are a good customer so you can lower their APR if they switch over to this other card ( and no they dont pay their balance off in full every month ) So it would save them money. There card number would stay the same and they could still use the one they had in their hand until they got the new one in the mail. All the other features are EXACTLY the same and still only 50% of the people I tell this too accept this! Anyone know why? Is it just the fact that someone doesnt want to be "sold". I feel like I am talking to a brick wall sometimes because people shut me out when I know I can help them. weird huh?

this guy and I have been talking online for 2 days. We talked for about 3 hours each night. I found out he was a pagan on the second night. I'm a christian. That's a problem. So, on the third night, I decided to tell him that he and I can't talk to each other again. I just can't do it. He asks if we can just be friends, and we get into an argument. I finally say, "Just leave me alone, I never want to talk to you again!"

What would have been the correct way to handle this situation?

Plus...I'm never talking with people I don't know online ever again! I made that mistake once!

It was on television in the mid-late 80s. I can't remember many specifics about it, but there were human-looking alien creatures and the way that you found out that they were not human, is if they got cut or physically hurt, their human-looking skin would tear and you would see their real body. It was really "out there", but I remember it being awesome. I think it was in the days before the Sci-Fi channel, and TV was a little more limited than it is now. Anyone else remember it? If so, is it on DVD anywhere?
