I dont see why you cant talk to him because you have different religions unless somehow you brought up each others religions or criticized each other for it. It doesnt make him a bad person because he believes in a different god, who really knows the truth? nobody alive, thats for sure. Im not saying either religion is true or false. maybe you should be more open minded about it and maybe you will understand him better. As long as you believe in christ, your doing nothing wrong in seeing his point of views. you are giving christians a bad name by treating him like that just because he has a different religion than you. If you really dont want to talk to him again then you should at least apologize for treating him the way you did.

You need to get your head out of your @$$ and quit judging others solely based on their religion, you're just furthur proving my theory that christians are close-minded and only want to associate with their own kind because you are so self-righteous. You are never going to make it in the real world if you can't accept others who are different than you. Who knows, that poor guy could have turned out to be a great friend or more, but you shunned him based on one fact about him. As for you saying you won't talk to strangers online anymore...well you might as well not talk to strangers in real life either, they could turn out to be other pagans or even satanists, and oooh that would be bad, because you could never talk to them again! Maybe you should just stick to the bible-thumpers club, that seems to be the only place you will ever make friends.

Well,Christianity is about love and understanding, not judging someone for their beliefs and thoughts but to plant a seed of Gods love and the sacrifice his SON went through for us. In a way it was wrong because the Bible teaches us not to judge someone for what they do but to Let God. Maybe it was Gods plan for you to plant that seed of knowledge its never to late to change and him still wanting to be friends that's a start. But, God works in many different ways to draw his children in to him the ones that are lost and just need to find their way back home. So, by talking to him you could be doing some of Gods work and remember that you can always pray that God works on him. But, don't push it on him let him ask you and then you can tell I'm sure he will listen to. the days are numbered and to spread the Word will be the gr east thing you or anyone of us can do so do some reading in the book of Revelation so when he ask you will know how to answer.

there are really no rules in handling such situations because it always depend on the concerned individuals.. no problem if u felt ur difference in belief is a big issue between you, in the same way its not wrong too if this guy thinks friendship should trascend religious beliefs... what i think is little immature is when u say u will never talk to other persons online again bec of this incident.. true there are bound to be undesirables in the net (LOTS of them actually!!) but there are also many interesting persons here who can be your good friends.. still, its ur decision not mine... :)

I think that talking on-line with someone is a great way to get to know them. It's so safe. I think you have missed a great opportunity here, you could have chatted about your beliefs and, guess what, you would have seen how many similarities there are between your two religions. In fact any two religions - all religions. But that's another topic.
Maybe you can get him back??? - don't let pride make you sad.

ok love i hope you feel more then bad your fukn slack since when does religion make a person a problem he got christened as a padan so what he didnt choose that and even if he did so what he believes a different belief to you who gives a s.h.i.t Example if he jumped in a river and didnt say why you probably would believe he was hot and his mother might of believed he wanted to swim for the sake of it Outcome everyones beliefs are different Right or Wrong so get over it!

If you honestly feel that you can't have a friendship with a pagan, then don't feel bad. However, as a christian myself, I've always thought its best to treat those with different beliefs with tolerance. Who knows, you could even wind up showing him the light of god.

I think you really overreacted in this situation. Instead of blowing up at him because he has different beliefs than you, you should have been honest with him and tell him how you felt about it and why you didn't want to build a future friendship with him. Next time you will know better....honesty always pays off.

Did you like talking to this person? Religion has nothing to do with a persons character. And it should be no reason to never speak again.
