I am a little bit overweight. Whenever I try to lose weight, or even make a decision to eat healthy and exercise, my friends jeaporadise it by saying, "You don't need to lose any' or "You're just big boned". They say I need to as well, when I buy a new outfit, but invite me to eat all this fatty food they won't let me refuse. They buy me all this fatty and sugary food and when I refuse to eat it, they insist even more. They are not skinny, yet they give me advice on how to lose it, but when I am serious about it, it's like they are threatened. What can I do?

I like this guy I play music with, but he is sending mixed signals. He is friendly and kind, but I once mentioned having been in love in the past & he got a look of fear and trembling in his eyes. Also, he looks afraid when I have mentioned that I was doing something with people on Friday--as if he was afraid to hear I was on a date. Also, I mentioned having gotten a little tired of people talking shop, and he said nervously that he does that sometimes. He was flirty when we first met, but now he tends to be much more serious around me. Sometimes I think he is shy, but sometimes, he just seems plain terrified. I do not think I am doing anything so horrible, other than being friendly and open, but not pushy. Yesterday, I used "sexy" as an adjective, and he just about fell off his seat. I want to break the tension somehow, but I don't know what to do. While I have gotten to know him and he had never once mentioned a gf, but I just found out he has one. Any decoders out there?

at the end of Resident Evil Outbreak, File #2, you see a bunch of people on a bridge on the outskirts, and you can see Cindy (in her vacation outfit-- black shoes, white pants, & blue long sleeve.) does that mean she survived?

also what happened to the charaters ( Kevin, Jim, Yoko, Cindy etc.) at the end of the Outbreak games? do they die? who survives?

I attempted to vote at the last elections and even though my name was still on the electoral roll I was told 'you are white and not allowed to vote today'. The blacks are denied access to food and their families threatened with torture if they vote for opposition parties. Ballot boxes are sometimes full before voting starts and some boxes are exchanged before they get to counting points. The counry needs outside help as the people are powerless to help themselves, much as they would like to.

Is it just a coincidence that smartest person (stephen hawking) is disabled, or is it because of his inability to interact with the physical world that he's able to focus on the transcendent abstractions of theoretical physics? Either way, he'd probably be a top notch physicist, but how much less would he have contributed to our understanding of the universe if he'd been able to lead a more normal life?

I have been on a "sabbatical" since April and have not been working. I am now about out of money and need to find a job. Tonight I went with my best friend to another friend's restaurant for his birthday. The friend who owns the resturaunt implied that he would be willing to hire me. I think it would be fun to work there, but my background is in retail. I'm also unsure about how good of an idea it is to work for a friend. Should I call him tommorrow and ask if he was serious about his offer?
