The proud father brought home a backyard swing set for his children and immediately started to assemble it with all the neighborhood children anxiously waiting to play on it. After several hours of reading the directions, attempting to fit bolt A into slot B, etc., he finally gave up and called upon an old handyman working in a neighboring yard.
The old-timer came over, threw the directions away, and in a short while had the set completely assembled.
It's beyond me," said the father, "how you got it together without even reading instructions."
"To tell the truth," replied the old-timer, "I can't read, and when you can't read, you've got to think."

My 6 month old son's father and I have been together for over 2 years; he walked out on us about a month ago and now I am starting to question what is wrong with me. I know that I need to move on but it is emotionally challenging at times because I find myself thinking about the fun times we used to have in the past and how I wished things could have worked out between us so we could stay a family. I am starting a new 10 gallon aquarium (actually its in a computer monitor that I just transformed into an aquarium) and I've been reading about cycling and I have a question...If I put my filter in an established 20 gallon aquarium (for a few days maybe?) would it build up enough bacteria for me to put it into my aquarium and have no need for cycling? From what I've read it seems that if I did this and also added some of the water from the gravel of the established aquarium when I add my fish that everything would be fine. There would be bacteria in the filter and the established water's aquarium, and the fish I add would be creating ammonia. It seems to me that it would be a perfectly functioning aquarium. Has anyone tried this, or know whether this would work or not?

My boyfriend is a very traditional man. He doesn't like to see I should dance holding other men. Besides, in a party, we usually sing Kara Ok. Or some girls would like to give hot weird dance. As an atheist, I hear all the time from some, not all, christians that "what harm would come if you believed, if you are wrong you get heaven if you are right nothing happens." Pascals Wager.
Pascal's Wager asks an atheist to compromise their belief.
How many people asking that of an atheist would be willing to put the shoe on the other foot and themselves give 'lip service' to a belief they didn't truly believe in?
And is it really ethical for any person to ask for such compromise?
