Select the answer as the Best Answer (have to wait 4 hours from the time of asking before you can select a Best Answer).
When you select a Best Answer you can add a short message - I think it's 300 characters maximum.
If Stuart has an E-mail link or is on Instant Messenger you could always send him a thankyou message. Click on his username to see his profile, if he's accepting e-mails or has IM there'll be links to contact him.

Let's say you want to thank the person. Return to the question post by clicking on your User Name. Your list of questions are below on the left panel. Browse to the question. Then add comments or click on the Best Answer'ers Name and send an email. You may also add comments when you select best answer. OK?

you can click on his avatar and it will take you to his profile. From there you can either email him where it says "contact Stuart" or click on "View Stuart's 360 page" and leave him a message there.

after 4 hours of you posting the question go to where it says MY Q&A then click on the question and select who you want to award ten points to for best answer.
If you want to thank someone in person just click on their name and see details about them some people have contact details some don't.
(oh you can go to Q&A anytime looks like im saying only in 4 hours can u go lol)

When Yahoo asks you to choose the best answer to your question, scroll a little further down and there's a box where you can post your message and post the star rating as well. have fun!

Click on their Yahoo ID under Icon, and see if there is contact info on the profile page. If they did not confirm their email, though, it won't go through.

Simple. Click on his/her avatar. On the page that pops up, just right of the avatar is says: "Contact ......".
Click on there and send the person an e-mail.

i think u have to go to his profile,check if he has a contact address or Y! msnger id....
most ppl dont...i thnk that sucks....how do they suppose we can ever thank them??
