Hey. I recently bought a strand of christmas tree lights. upon opening them, i noticed a white label attached to the strand. it said Proposition 65 and that the strand contained lead and that in California, exposure was known to cause cancer and birth defects? Ive never seen this before? I researched and found a website that stated that most electrical appliance cords have lead coating, to keep the wires from getting too hot. Is this true? Ive handled x-mas lights before but I never knew they had lead in them? Im considering getting rid of the lights if theyre a serious safety hazard. I have them hanging up right now. Are they only hazardous if you handle them? Theyre not going to like rain down lead dust on me or anything are they? If you guys that have xmas lights can check and see if yours say the same thing, it would help. If this is normal for xmas tree lights and not especially harmful than I wont worry about putting up the lights. I just dont want lead dust falling down.

so many interpretaions and comments on the bible, many so off.
the book is spiritual ,how could you read it and understand it in the natural,jesus even said they will not understand it unless you have the spiritual birth.just look at the questions on this site,and there you have it ....the truth of scripture,once again...you can read the bible forwards and backwards 10 times if ya dont want jesus and dont look for him in truth it will remain a hard and difficult book,hes the one who says it,cant you see it yet?

Im going to for exploritory surgery. That can possibly turn into a full operation depending on what they find. Im nervous. i have ovarian cysts and alot of pain. in my tummy and lower back BAD. Doc doesnt know why my lower back is hurting. Gonna check everything in there, I guess. My problem is, I have 4 kids....am I gonna be able to do anything after this? how much pain am I gonna be in? Are there risks? Please dont tell me....call your doctor....cause im asking you people, not my doctor. thank you!!!

Should I be mad that after 2.5 years of dating my gf says that she does not want kids. i am 34 , she is 22. we are engaged and all this was clear when we got engaged. She keeps saying she does not want kids..yet. i do not want to **** up my life and end up with no family.i love kids and i want them with her.she refuses simply.she does not work, just wants to have fun and keep telling me there is time. Of course i am the one fincancing everything (including school for her). i feel i am getting screwed here and risk a lot.

All of the walls in my house are plaster and we would like to replace them with drywall. Instead of knocking out all of the plaster, would it be at all possible to just screw drywall into the studs over the plaster? The plaster walls are all in pretty good contidion - the ceilings in most of the rooms are some kind of fiber tile, except in the bathroom and closets which are plaster (these are badly cracked). Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated!
