I think that Al Gore is all wet, and that what he (and others) are calling "global warming" is really the sun intensifying in preparation
for the tribulation period detailed in the Book of Revelation (last
book in the New Testament; KJV). To wit:

Revelation 16:9 (King James Version)

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Note: I don't mean we're IN the tribulation already, but that the sun is being prepared for that time by God.

I was on the river this weekend and got burnt even though I applied a SPF 30 sunscreen on before I went out and reapplied during the trip. We were out for 7 hours, and I got a burn on my thighs and shoulders. The only thing I had with me at the time was my sunscreen and I was wondering if it did any good to put it on after I was red. Does it stop the burn or just prevent sunburns? What's the best thing you can do immediately after a burn if you are camping or still on the road? Now I have aloe vera with lidocane so it's not a big deal now.
