First I don't believe you can own a person, but you may be able to convince someone weak minded that you do. And if you were able to do that I think the psychological impact would be to have your self image. It wouldn't be yours anymore and that would be hard to overcome. All we have in the world is ourselves and if you were told someone else owned the only thing you can never replace it would be very destructive.

the impact on them or you? them, it would be control, sence of power and ownership, like having someone that does as they are told by the owner at any time, I think this would make feel that they can do as they please, but the person they own cannot have the same freedom as them.

the person that is owned would feel psycologically dependent on their owner to tell them what to do and when to do it, they would feel uncomfortable and out of place if they were not told what to do by the owner, its like they are programmed mentally to carry out orders from the owner, but at the same trime it is mentally fustrating and straining for the other person because they psycologically understand the games that are being played on their mind by the owner.

Very good question and fortunately one I cannot answer and hope in my lifetime am not able to do. Freedom of one of the things a lot of blood has been shed over. And I hope the answer is the person is a miserable as Midas when He got what he asked for:-)

Well, I can only supposition on that aspect...

I would assume that it would be a "power trip", because you would have ultimate power over life and death of that person.

He/she would be subject to your every whim, or want or need...

And that person, would be in such fear of you, that it would show in thier eyes, and emotions and total body language, and that would probably give a sick person a very powerful "rush" of emotion of being in control...

I am glad that they abolished slavery...
As no person, should be under a sickos control.

I wish you well..

In terms of accepted ownership such as BDSM or other alternative life styles, this can provide security and a sense of direction to the poeple who need it.

i noticed that you have more than one question about human ownership. it seems to me that you may have an unhealthy obsession with it. i really think you should consider seeking professional help because this fixation may be a symptom of an underlying psychological condition.

It's called slavery. Terrible for both and all the lives around them.
