hey guys
travelling USA to London, but there's a transfer.

SEA to NEWARK (Continenal)
NEWARD to LONDON (Virgin)

everytime in the past i've flown with the same company, my baggage has automatically been transferred. but this time there's an 8 hr gap between the flights.. just wondering if i have to pick up my bags... check in again ... or if they keep onto them or what :)

We are moving to a new town (by choice, not because of a job), so my husband will be getting a new job once we arrive. He's an ASE certified master teach, and we have researched and jobs are plentiful. My fear comes in renting a house (real estate is HIGH there, plus we want to get to know the area before buying). We have been married 17 years and have never rented - always owned our own homes. Most of the rental applications I've seen ask for 2 pay stubs, gross salary, etc. I have an internet-based business (for the past nine years), so my business goes with me wherever I go, and I have tax returns to show my income. Hubby makes GREAT money, and he will have stubs from his old job but no NEW job. We also have A+ credit and very little debt. Will the pluses of our credit, home ownership history, etc. help, or do property management/landlords poo-poo you if you don't already have a job in the new place?

If they came to my table and offended me by saying "Do you know an animal had to die so you could eat that steak" my response. would be "Yeah, he starved to death because you ate all his food" .

I've had a problem with shyness since childhood after being teased and it has really affected both my personal, yet more importantly my professional life. When I'm in front of patients at work, I stutter and sometimes lose my train of thought. I appear very insecure to other people and I don't know how to change what I'm doing. I know I need to change, but I don't know how. I've tried everything from reading half a dozen self help books to counseling, all of which didn't help. I really need some advice cause I've lost two jobs because of it and I don't want it to happen again if I get a new job. Please help. Thanks!

theres this boy at my school he talks to me all the time and he always wants to sit with me at lunch alot of times he calls and when we were at recess he carries me the whole time and i always hate when people call me tiny and short but when he does it i like. well, i spoke to my ex again. shes been pounding the thopught of getting back together last week, and i was mean about it. i called back a day later, said sorry and felt really bad about it. we were all good, no hard feelings...then i gave into the thought of getting back together, she said these words. "idk if we should again now, like, sometimes i do sometimes i dont...but like, 95% ofg the time i want to be with you"
1st off, that doesnt seem normal to me...who says 95% of the time...and then she said, i wanna be with you more then half of the time but then sometimes i dont..
shes been pounding the idea of getting back together when i didnt give in, now i gave in and she says that.
what the hell do i do with this girl.
not only that, i have a good friend who has feelings for me and same here for her...and she wants to be with me, and i;d like to explore it but fear throwing away something with the ex...i need some advice!

A blonde goes for a job interview in an office. The interviewer starts with the basics. "So, Miss, can you tell us your age, please?"

The blonde counts carefully on her fingers for half a minute before replying. "Um ... 22."

The interviewer tries another straightforward one to break the ice. "And can you tell us your height, please?"

The young lady stands up and produces a measuring tape from her handbag. She then traps one end under her foot and extends the tape to the top of her head. She checks the measurement and announces, "Five foot two!"

This isn't looking good so the interviewer goes for the real basics; something the she won't have to count, measure, or lookup. "Just to confirm for our records, your name please?"

The blonde bobs her head from side to side for about fifteen seconds, mouthing something silently to herself, before replying, "Mandy!"

The interviewer is completely baffled at this stage, so he asks, "What were you doing when I asked you your name?"

"Oh, that!" replies the blonde," I was just running through that song, 'Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...'."

I usually have a pretty normal period, but last week, I had a really light period. I really didn't have to wear a pad. That never happens to me. I took a pregnancy test, but it came out negative. I am also on birth control pills. I missed a few pills and my husband and I have been having sex quite often. Do you think I'm pregnant? Should I stop taking the pills until I find out? I would hate to be hurting the baby if I am pregnant, but I also don't want to stop taking the pills and get pregnant. PLEASE HELP.
