At age 47, I am working toward a bachelors degree in information science with a focus on programming. I also have an infant business going and work full time for someone else. My question is this: is it even worth it, at this point in my life, to persue a college degree? Who would hire a 49 year-old programmer fresh out of college? I have over 20 years in the IT industry, mainly on the hardware side. I am also actively growing a business in robotics and internet properties development.

I am finding myself with too much to do and very little time to do it in. Should I focus on the business or the education? Which one has more potential (at my age) for financial gain? I loathe working for other people, but may need a college degree to maintain my employability.

The posibilities are endless for me, but I can't go in all directions.

Any worldly bits o' wisdom out there?

I love to watch Tsubasa Chronicle anime, but I got a question. What episodes will it end? Is there a 2nd season? If there is, is there english subtitle? Thanx!

If you spilled coffee on your face (i mean coffee right out of the maker) what degree burn would you get? I was just wondering b/c I spilled some on my hand earlier and it didn't feel that bad, but you hear all of these coffee burn horror stories, so I was just curious.

I bet if there were a naked woman/man on Mars, everyone would own a telescope. In my opinion, Astronomy and space exploration are two underrated fields of scientific study.

i really want a dog or a cat or 2 cats, or even ferrets, but:
1. My mom MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT (most likely not) have a dog that doesn't shed.
2. If i have a cat or 2 they will be fine when they are home alone, but dogs wont' be.
3. Cats shed all the time.
and if i don't get at least a ferret, i'm serisously gonna go mad. We have fish and hermit crabs. but....

And please don't give me that bull; "atleast he stood for something," or " because he is a sound religious, family man," and if you voted for him because he wants to fight terrorism then just shut up.

God supposedly created the rainbow after the great flood. Bible scholars said the great flood occurred in the year 1646 B.C. Now, if people existed in North America and elsewhere before the year 1646 (which they did), and they had rainbows, then how could God have created them after the great flood?

Teachers are trusted to teach our children how to live in the world we created for them. There is no job more important than that. And if they are highly paid, how do you stop people from doing it for the money?
