If you spilled coffee on your face (i mean coffee right out of the maker) what degree burn would you get? I was just wondering b/c I spilled some on my hand earlier and it didn't feel that bad, but you hear all of these coffee burn horror stories, so I was just curious.

if you had scalding hot liquid fall on your face you would have severe problems as for the degree the burn would be depends on many different factors like how long was the exposure ..what immediate treatment was done.. did it go into the eyes ...bottom line all burns are different and some people have skin that is tougher than others although not generally on the face

If it's just red and a little pain- that's 1st degree burns.
If you have blisters, that's 2nd degree.
If your skin is coming off- that's 3rd degree.

I'm sure you only have 1st degree burn
