We were not there so How can we know if there was rainbows before the flood? I choose to believe that the first rainbow came after the Great Flood as a sign to mankind that God would never again completely destroy the earth by flood.

How could you possibly know that there were rainbows before the flood? were you there? The bible gives us a promise in rainbows and is specific about when God gave us the first one...sorry wasn't before the flood. I guess next you'll be asking if anyone has found the pot at the end of the rainbow? I did but it wasn't in gold you could spend, it is gold I'm getting in heaven.

The native Americans were given the rainbow by the Atlantis people. The atlantians went back in time to the great flood, and stole rainbows to take back to north America. For that god destroyed the city of Atlantis. As far as these fairy tails go, you can make anything like that up.

That was after the last flood. That god set a rainbow in the sky with the mwsage that it singled that the world would not be destroyed by water again.
This is in the bible and recored in writings before that of other floods in the world. Gilgamesh was one of them much the same way that noah was warned.
physical science has showen/proved that the world or different parts of it were flooded at diferent periods in time.

There was no rain before the flood so there was no rainbow prior.
Rainbows are colors reflected in rain.
God provided them as a promise that he would not flood the whole earth again. And there is geographical evidence to support a flood in all areas of the world.
Just because you don't believe doesn't mean it didn't happen.

look on the geography. Geography is one among the main considerable drivers of history. The Sumerian civilisation exchange into ordinarily placed in the joint delta of the Tigris and Euphrates deltas and alongside the decrease reaches of those rivers in very flat united states of america. It included the cities of Shurrupak, Ur, Uruk and a number of different others. one ingredient that all and sundry rivers do now and lower back is flood. human beings residing in flat united states of america close to rivers or in deltas of large rivers will journey those floods. Ask the citizens of Brisbane, Australia or New Orleans in the u . s ., or maybe those alongside the Yangtze in China if massive floods ever ensue. some floods are larger than others and over a 4 hundred years era cities like Uruk and Ur ought to anticipate to have a minimum of one large flood, in all likelihood as many as 4 or 5. The Bible says that Abraham got here from Ur. in spite of if he did or no longer, and in spite of if he somewhat existed isn't the factor, the factor is that it exhibits a cultural connection between the classic Jews and the Sumerians. with the aid of fact the Gilgamesh account is older than the Noah tale by using many hundreds of years, that's surprisingly obvious that the Noah tale is an instantaneous reproduction of the Gilgamesh tale. there's no dispute approximately this different than from people who declare the Bible is somewhat real. because their claims have been refuted time after time after time by using biology, chemistry, physics, geology, history and zoology, and that they have got taken to mendacity to help their claims between the ignorant, there's no reason to believe something they say.

No where does it say that God created a rainbow to to seal the covenant with Noah. God said to Noah "I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth."
Nowhere does it say that he created at that moment the Rainbow. God used the rainbow to say that he would never again destroy all flesh by a flood.
