what do you do when your whole life has been filled with nothing but despare, pain, failur, rejection and you are all alone in the world and you are tring and trying but just cant get ahead in the world and 4 kids depend on you to make everything okay some how? I work hard and I am not afraid to give all I have to better my childrens lives but I am about out of options and resources for help!!! I am not a greedy person I only want ot improve the possibilities for my family and myself. I am no lazy person looking for a free ride. Just want to break even for once, not even get a head!!

About a couple of months ago someone moved in next door (I live in an apt). Before they moved in I had no problems with insects coming around, especially because we own a cat that likes to hunt them down and kill them. Now we have more than a few roaches crawling at night in our driveway, And little baby roaches coming through the walls from what seperates us from them. We also have rats, which recently caused an accident for our cat who couldnt hold back from playing with the sticky mouse trap we tried to use. Our neighbors are disgustingly unclean and Im tired of going through this, what should I do?

Am I a complete idiot, or just lacking some self-preservation gene. I am a trained dancer. I did my undergraduate thesis in modern dance. I am an aerobics instructor. I CANNOT DO THE SPLITS. it has bothered me for years that i'm just not trying hard enough but omg no matter how warmed up and how much i try i feel like my pelvis is going to split in half. can some people just NOT do the splits?

I had a grade 3 astrocytoma brain tumor and underwent a seven hour craniotomy with motor mapping at UCSF. I had external beam radiation and six rounds of BCNU chemotherapy treatments, via an IV. Rounds1-3 were not that bad. Rounds 4-6 were horrible. I puked, dry heaved nothing but spit and air, slept a lot, ate nothing that i could keep in my stomach for more than an hour or so. Even when i drank water after an infusion, I would puke it up. My teeth looked like hell and i got sores on the edges and insides of my mouth.

But I survived it and am six years cancer free.

Maybe I am just too damn hot, but I have always found, "Hello, would you like to dance with me?" to be effective. But I am surrounded by men who are constantly trying out new lines on me, to see if I think they are clever or would work with a woman. What is wrong with just skipping the clever opener, and say what you really want and expect? Does this approach not work for ugly guys?
