No: Cats, in the wild, are insectivores (as well as carnivores). This is a normal component of their diets.

Cat Eating Insects

My cats like to chase flying "critters" flies, moths, and anything else they can catch. It has never hurt them, because they catch so few of them. I think they feel they have to "eat" their trophies. It could be worse - it could be something like a squirrel, bird or rabbit.

Noooo. all cats do that!!!

Its normal. if youre cat starts acting weird, ask the vet. has she been acting weird after eating em? then its cool. let them be cats. its nature!

Cats need animal protein in their food - give a piece of hardboiled egg, some cheese and the occassional bug to supplement the comercial diet.

I hope it's not harmful, cause my cat does it all the time. Moths, spiders, flies....yesterday she knocked a wasp out of the sky, but I stopped her from eating that!

No, bugs are fine. But if she starts eating birds, you might want to take her to the vet to get some shots. Birds can have some nasty viruses!
