Maybe I am just too damn hot, but I have always found, "Hello, would you like to dance with me?" to be effective. But I am surrounded by men who are constantly trying out new lines on me, to see if I think they are clever or would work with a woman. What is wrong with just skipping the clever opener, and say what you really want and expect? Does this approach not work for ugly guys?

Well un-attracted guys have low self-esteem and often have second thought when come to asking a girl.
