There's a lot of controversy over whether men should wear Speedos or boardshorts in public. Most of the bias against them appears (IMHO) to center on rampant American male image insecurities and free-floating homophobia. Assuming that fat, out-of-shape bodies are aesthetically repulsive wearing tight swimsuits (and accepting the obverse assumption that a tight, physically fit body looks good in one), what do women REALLY think about this? It's hard enough to read a woman's mind in most cases, but I'd be interested in hearing a range of subjective opinions on this from the XX gender (that's "XX" chromosomes to you!). I have determined that water is coming in my basement (under my fireplace) when it rains because the bricks on the outside of the house (fireplace) have cracks/holes in the morter.I sprayed water on the bricks covering the fireplace (where the tops of some of the bricks are exposed because of the step-like pattern-where the structure goes from being wide to narrow as you get closer to the top of the chimney. That is definitely the source of the problem. What is the best way to seal that?

I'm going to Lollapalooza on the 4th, and taking the train into town. I won't have time to drop my bags off at our hotel (it's on the north side, friends from Minnesota booked it because it was convenient for them), so I need a place downtown that can store my bags until about 10:30 or 11:00 when the concert ends. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am almost 6 weeks into my pregnancy and have been getting my blood tested every 2 days for hCG count. The count is lower than the doctor expects but it is going up. I do have a risk for ectopic pregnancy because of prior surgery for endometriosis. They have scheduled a sonogram for next Friday just to make sure things are ok, but has anyone experienced a tubal pregnancy and does this sound like your situation??? I'm just starting to freak out and panic a little.
