Hey...you can use this software Winzip ...itz really useful...you can zip the files to save a lot of space in your PC...itz easy to use...just download it and install it to your PC...then right click the file you want to shorten...then a box will appear with options like as copy...paste..cut there you'll be able to see a thing named add to zip...click it to shorten your file...
