IM 15 female and want to get in shape for cross country this year so this week i started running like 2mi a day.well monday went fine no pain.tuesday i ran a little faster for 1-3/4mi but the last fourth of a mile i had top slow jog cuz my stomach started to hurt(a little below the belly button)do think their cramps?or stomachache?then today wednesday i ran like i did tuesday a little fast but this time my stomach hurt really bad in the same spot again, almost threw up, after about a mile so i went into a slow jog but the pain got worse so i had to walk home.is it that im pushing myself to hard or do i need to take some midol(i think i might be menstruating soon)can u take midol when yer not on yer period? i take potassium and vitamins every morning since i started running,so wat could i take to stop the pain? please i love to run but not when it hurts i need a cure and need it now cross country starts aug 14. please help me those of you who know the joy of running.
