I hope but I must say I'm a little disappointed there are no pure shooters on the team; Ray Allen, Michael Redd just a bunch of great athletes. A team needs a great shooter to spread the floor for so the scorers can drive the lane. Plus we are a little small. The starting line up however could be devastating. Gilbert Arenas, Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, Elton Brand and Dwight Howard, oh snap! At least that's who I would choose to start but I think coach K has got it handled.

No, I don't think they will win the FIBA championship in Japan. The team doesn't get a chance to play together for enough time to be a cohesive enough unit to beat some of the other countries. I think they will be in the top 4, but not the champions.

Even though they have struggled in FIBA competition lately, I still can't go against them. From the articles I have read, they seem to be paying more attention to the details. They are developing a more well-rounded team and they are concentrating on learning the rules and differences of FIBA basketball. I think that will put them over the top.

Thisis the best USA basketball team since thee original dream team. So yea they have more time to practice together and sum of the best talent the league has seen since the magic and jordan era....So yes i think the US is back on top with this team. MOS DEF

i want o win but i think they dont have good player this year like kobe and tim duncan and some other this year every body is young and they never came here before and it maybe hard for them
