Why would we blame this on you? Are you Dan Rather? I think if its negative the press will give us as much as there is to give. And what they don't know, they will make up. Negative sells more than positive, so no we do not get the whole story.

Every news source has filters on it. So, no we don't.
The best chance we have is to use several 'reliable' sources with different points of view. (Most internet sources are not reliable). After listening to the differences make up your own mind as the what the story really is.
Listen to the Ds and the Rs. Read the NY Times and watch Fox News. Balance NPR with Rush Limbaugh.
