He was the first to have groupies. Many women fainted when he performed. Most swooned. He was the first performer to have girls throwing their panties on the stage. And he was the first pop star to be recognized and well known in many countries.

Go for it!

I purchased a home in CA, near the SF Bay Area. I purchased in May 05. It appears the home may be losing value. I could sell and move-out (I have a traveling job) to another lower-cost home I have.

What do you think? Will the market pick-up in 8-12 months?

If I sell now, I may take a loss.

Any advice appreciated.

You see an old friend, when he sees you he puts his head down but is looking at you. You wave at him and after you wave he puts his head back up and waves back. What kind of body language is that? Whats the meaning?

I just moved to the US (about 8 months) and have had some problem adapting. Though, I can quite easily communicate in english; my inherently-different lingo/accent/sense of humor, to an extent my shyness and the confusing (to me, of course) body language of most americans here have made me unusually confused abt how to behave (besides I live in the politically-correct Mass, so the growing paranoia of wot to say looms large). Though I was pretty outgoing back home, I have become painfully shy here. Kinda confuses me...any tips on how to get used to a new place and come over your own shyness...I have to spend a few years here before I get a chance to go back (I am in one of those require-long-training-n-
experience fields: Neurology) and I dont wanna spend the rest of these years as a tourist (hope ppl will understand wot i mean)....I dont think I can call myself an immigrant and I'm a perfectly legal temporary resident...and yeah, dont really believe that every1 is a racist here

Our sewer line runs right under the kitchen, so running the drain shouldn't be too bad, but the nearest source to plumb the water is about 8 feet away, in a wall of the house (plumbing is run all in the attic). Your responses can give me a wide range... I understand that without seeing the layout of everything, an estimate will be REALLY rough!

They reserve the right to defend themselves? Either way they are tiny and could not prevail without help if things got dicey. Do you agree or is that absurd? Do they need help or can they take care of this situation by themselves?

My friend banged this hot 17 year old on vacation last month and he is 30. They both were into each other and spent the majority of their vacation together.

Also, why is it considered wrong and illegal in America for this kind of thing to happen when it seems perfectly natural?

I have alot of vintage-esque stuff in my room and lots of dark bold colors, which I love. But when I went on vacation and came home I found that my mother took it upon herself to get me bright striped sheets, pastel nonetheless, as well as removing alot of the stuff I thought made my room unique. Should I stick with my red and green citrus color scheme or should a bedroom be brighter and less "cluttery."

Ever since I was a very small child I realized that fractions were much easier to work with than decimals. Later in school when I learned how to manipulate polynomials I realized that EVERYTHING I learned about fractions was applicable. However, almost nothing to do with decimals has anything whatsoever to do with polynomials. Now that I am a college professor I realize what a disservice schools are doing to America's children by allowing them to become fractionally illiterate. It is as if they (schools) are setting up our kids for failure later in their education. What is so difficult about fractions?

As an agnostic from a religious family, I have asked this question many times to myself and others. And the responses, while not always the most coherent, are always personalized and interesting. I'd like to hear more. I know this is a sometimes touchy subject, but try to be somewhat objective.
