The situation in Congo, as reported by Unicef today:

** 4 million people died since the war started there.
** each month 100.000 people are being kicked out of their houses
** each day 1200 people die, 600 of those are younger than 12
years old.
** 30.000 kids are used as soldiers or sex-slaves
** 1/3 of all the kids almost has nothing to eat.

How are we gonna stop all this? What are we gonna do? How are we gonna make God see all this? How are we gonna make God make the people stop this?

And please don't answer this with "Free will" or other nonsense. It's obvious that we humans do nothing to stop this horror, so I think it's up to God now. How can we make that so-called All-powerfull One finally do something usefull ?

If there is a God, He now has the chance to do something Good.

My hot water heater is only 5 years old, we woke up the other day to cold water for a shower, I went out and checked the heater and found the pilot light off ( it can not blow out, no wind can get to it ) so i relit it and all was ok for the first batch of hot water, I went out again and pilot light was off ( I installed a new thermo couple ) relit it and it did the same thing ( first batch of hot water but wont relite for second batch ) I am wondering what could knock pilot light out ? the thermo couple end is glowing so i know I have it in a good flame, also milivolts are fine when i checked my meter. any thoughts ? Thanks !!

i hav a bf since 2 yrs. but in june is joind a salsa class till 18june askd him also 2 join but he avoided sayin tht he has gym at tht time. a very sweet guy offered me 2 b my partner in dance class n i caled up my bf n told hem. he sounded quite cool but next day i startd gettin' my bf's rude,taunting n abusive mesgs sayin tht i love tht guy n should hav sex with him,remove my clothes in dance class etc. i mesgd my bf n told him tht i don lov my partner etc but in vain. he told me tht he will get investigation done n if somthing wrong he finds out, he will not reply or contact me. same thing hapned n its been 45 days v havnt talked. he doesnt reply me mesgs n doesnt even look at me. i kept mesgin til 10july n gav last mesg tht after this mesg ill start 4geting u but he didnt reply. on 21july i saw him on road n ignored n i got his mesg"when i see u, my blood boils n i feel like throwing stone at ur car". WAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN? DOES HE LOVE ME STILL?WILL HE 4GET ME COZ V RNT TALKING?

I have bachelors degree in psychology and an very interedted in persuing studies in nursing. How do i go about it in the US, i have no idea asi am a foreign student. I know that to get into a nursing school i need to have a Nurse registration certificate. I am married 10 years, My wife and I HARDLY argue, I never argue or look to argue. I think I am almost a perfect husband, I don't drink, use drugs, stay out late, cheat..etc. I saty at home with the kids and am a great Mr. Mom. I clean the house, do laundry, make beds, refaree fights, cook and a host of other things. Now before we go to bed last night my wife gets mad because I want the Air conditioning on.. Then the other day she gets mad because I lock the keys in the car. I broke the cell phone once and it was like the end of the world. Help me here.. Is there somthing wrong with my wife? These things are so stupid why do weomen want to argue over such trivial things? Or is it just her. I can't blame her compleatly because it seemes all my old girlfriends were the same way..Do you just like to argue??
