Wouldn't Jesus say the same things to them that he said to the hypocritical religious traditionalists of his day? Of course, I feel the same way about these fundamentalist types whether they have an R or a D next to their names.

I'd put them more in the false prophet category. The pharasees at least thought they were right, the tv evangelists are just out to get rich. Wouldn't trust any of them.

I suspect Jesus of Nazareth would not get along too well with modern day evangelicals, particularly the TV variety.

Lets be careful not to judge others. You can talk about their behavior like lifting 2000lbs. But lets not attack the person.
