My wooden sandbox is situated on the rooftop and sits on the wooden decking. It has a wooden cover but no drainage. I live in Shanghai and it's the rainy season now and typhoon season next. Now it's flooded and the bottom (where it's in contact with the base) is smelly and mouldy. What should I do now?
I was thinking of using covering the base and the top with ground sheets (vinyl) so the sand will not come into contact with the wood and it will also prevent water from entering the box.

My girl was mad at me today and i was trying to find out what was wrong. I had ask her but she wouldn't talk to me. I was trying to find out what on her mind Because She wouldnt speak her mind. So she have a journal that she write in. She write everything in the book that on her mind that she couldnt speak on. So i had read her book because i want to know what was going on her mind and try to work thing out.

Am I right or wrong what i did?

Hi Everyone,
Alcoholics Anonymous ("AA", spiritual), Rational Recovery ("RR", cognitive), SMART (cognitive), Save Ourselves ("SOS", cognitive) and other alcohol recovery programs all claim varying levels of success in helping alcoholics on the road to recovery. However, there is a lot of controversy surrounding their claims, as even a quick search on the internet will reveal. Viewing this chaos of opinions from "outside the box", it certainly seems as though they're all blowing smoke. Anecdotal arguments are used, tabloid-style quotations are touted as being authentic, and "my way or the highway" rationalizing is often used. One thing they all have in common is that apparently none of them has a handle on real statistics (though I could be wrong here; I just haven't found any). In addition, independent studies (NIAA, Dawson) have shown that these programs are no more successful than no program at all. What's your opion? Do one or more of these programs work better than nothing?

I have a family member (who's age I won't tell, but it's over 40) who's never lived by herself. She's always had someone to cook her meals, clean her laundry and fix her messes when she gets into trouble. Unfortunately the person who did this for her passed away a few months ago, and she's on her own.

Now, here somes the hilarious part.

I'm 19. She's now looking to me as if she wants me to be the 'replacement'; to clean for her and cook for her and fix all of her problems. Now, what do you think is the best way to tell her to 'leave me alone, take care of your own self' in a nice way? I don't want to anger her; it wouldn't help. I just want to get her to start depending on herself to run her own life. Any advice?

I work at a huge cancer hospital. We hired a guy and we only worked 3 days and quit. Problem is now it comes out that this guy was smoking meth or crack every chance he got on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe smoked like 6 or 7 times in a day. He did quit on Sunday. But now with this new news, should i tell my boss what I know? I mean he went in the office alone with her and quit.
I assume he was high as a kite. Should I let her know or a higher up know that the guy who just quit was a big time meth or crack user at work???

It doesn't matter if I am one of not, but I cannot stand it when someone asks. If I respond with "I'm not telling you," or "That's kind of private..." most people think I am a virgin and I am trying to make some lame attempt to make them think I want them to wonder. It usually backfires.
I've also tried telling them straight up "no" or "yes", just to see if they'll stop. It doesn't work. If you tell them you are a virgin, they'll ask why I don't want to have sex, why girls don't like me, and stuff. If I tell them I am not a virgin, they ask me to go into explicit explanations of my sexual ventures. I don't even see how discussing virginity is appropriate in any situation-- even with some of your good friends. I find it especially awkward when it is a girl asking me. I just feel a little violated.
I know some people who would post their virginity status on a billboard if they could, but not me.
What's a good response for the "Are you a virgin?" question?

Do you think that people are not afraid to show it because this is an internet site and there is some anonymity? I am shocked in this day and age at some of the opinions I read here.

Don't get me wrong, everyone has a right to their opinion and to speak their mind. I respect that. I'm just wondering because I don't run into this many blatantly racist people in my real life!

I caught my wife sleeping with a black guy from next door, she assured me that is would not happen again but the other day I come home and early and she was walking from next door. She said she was only taking muffins to him, yeah right, she was all sweaty and her hair was a mess. So I told her sister and she said , well we should go have sex in your bed while she is working and lets hope she catches us when she comes home, or you can just tell her we did it. Should i do this? I am kinda scared my wife might divorce me over that.
