Yup. Every now and then. But, then again, I would also read the Qu'ran, or the Torah, if they were placed there also. People tend to forget, that the three major religions (Chrisianity, Islam, and Judaism) all had the same "root", namely, Abraham.

Gideons has continuously been an evangelical business enterprise, so its objective has continuously been prosletyzing. that human beings who're already Christian have a Bible handy whilst travelling is only a delightful result. inn rooms are an hassle-free thank you to prevail in numerous people who've time on their palms and not lots to do. everywhere else, there is going to be greater opposition for human beings's interest. That became very genuine on the turn of the century in the previous television and telephones in rooms. which includes the 'OT' would have provided a distraction from the Christian message they have been attempting to get for the time of. which might you somewhat examine? some juicy historic protection stress historic previous or Paul's preaching? :-) Publishing and transportation expenditures probable help in making that determination as nicely.

It is not usually necessary for me to do so, as I have my own, well-read and worn Bible that I do not usually leave home for overnight without.

I do support the work of the Gideons that provide them as they want to make the Gospel available to those who may choose to pick up the Bible in a moment of conviction and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.

It should not be offensive to those who have no use for it, just as I have no use for phone books, but they are in the room, or a newspaper, which I do not care to read as I don't even have our local paper delivered to our home. Nor do I care if the HBO guide is in the room as I do not watch television.

So, like so many things in society, when it is not of my interest, I simply place it aside and go about my business and leave it for someone who might find it of interest.

NO. I never have. hahahahhahaa

Why? I have KJV Study version. A lot of these Bibles in the Hotel rooms are just basic Bibles. I guess they are ok. If you don't have one.

Don't get me wrong, I think it is great they are there.

Occasionally, but I prefer my own that I bring with me.

I am so thankful for the Gideons work in that area as well as getting the Bible translated and out to all the countries.

Yeah boy. I read the motel-room Bibles. Those Gideons are really a terrific bunch of people. They invited me to join their group, but when I met some of them I knew these guys were WAY out of my league, godliness-wise.

you opened it once because you are a Muslim who doesn't believe in our bible. or who believes that we have the fake bible according to your quarn. Since Qu'arn says a differnet thing about the bible. How could Quarn know too much stuff about christionity 600 years later.. DUH! That's why you don't read the bible.. read it, it's the only holy book.
