You obviously haven't read my previous Best Answer on this topic! Boy, I'm getting tired of repeating this! Sorry.
Crop circles are caused by long distance truck drivers, who fall asleep at the wheel, plow through a barbed wire fence into a field of wheat or corn, wake up when the engine stalls, and have to turn their big rigs around in a huge circle to find their way back to the road. That's all.
The farmer discovers the circle a few days later. The crops have grown up to cover where the truck entered the field, except for where it was chewed up the most-- the circle. The farmer repairs the fence and does not know the truck was ever in his field.
Besides, if it gets him on tv, that is a lot more fun than complaining about truckers that can't stay awake.
