From what I understand a friend of my son allowed my son to ride one of their family's dirt bikes, which resulted in my son having and accident and breaking 6 front teeth. My son is only 16 years old. The parents were apparently at work during the time the accident occured. The question I raise is do the parents have some type of responsibility in all of this. I would think that they are the actual owners of the bike. Shouldnt they be liable for decisions made by their children. Motorcycles are more dangerous then automobiles. My son doesnt have a license. I have over 4000.00 in medical bills to cap 6 front teeth and emergency room expenses. Anyone have and opinion. Thank you!!!

I've seen this claim several times today. While it's true that some aspects of the Bible have been proven to be accurate by archaeology, it's also true other aspects have been proven false. Finkelstein and Silberman document the archaeological evidence that proves that Israel was never more than a vassel state, and that Soloman and David were nothing more than chieftans. Why would people find it surprising that books that are genuinely old might occasionally record accurate history? How does getting mundain facts occasionally right prove the outrageous parts? Does the fact that Mecca exists and the Qu'ran talks about it somehow prove that Muhammed really preached to the Jin?

I know that I asked a similar quesiton in chemistry, but I would like to get the opinion of both the chemical and egological community.

One of the ingredients of soda is carbon dioxide. As we know, carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. Does that mean that by opening up a can of soda, you are contributing to global warming? Obviously these are relatively small amounts, but if you drink a can of soda (or seltzer) everyday can it impact the environment?

For the sake of the question, disregard the fossil fuels it takes to ship the sodas and the metals it takes to manufacture the soda can; I'm interested in the impact of the carbon dioxide itself.

As elections in the USA are largely bought, whichever candidate that can raise the most funds by promising their allegiance to big business will be put forward by their party, and the most corrupt candidate from the two parties will have raised the most funds, and will produce the biggest campaign to discredit his opponent, and will be elected president.

A government of the people, by the people, and for the people, I think not.

God help America
