if you were born in the US your DOB should have been reguistered with the city you were born in, if you were born in a hospital then the hospital would have issued you a birth certificate - you can contact both with the general date and they might be willing to help you if you ask nicely - if not - be happy with the date you have - if you think it is off by a day or - start celebrating your birthday week instead of just the day!!

The best thing to do is contact the hospital or officials present during your birth. Somebody somewhere with a rudimentary education must know something!
IF, on the off chance she had you in the middle of nowhere and never took you to the hospital or clinic, then your best bet is to contact a lawyer and decide on what day you want your birth to be recorded.
In a way, you are very fortunate. Not very many people can say they literally chose the day they were born. Hell, choose February 29th, then you only have to deal with it once every 4 years! Gilbert & Sullivan operettas are made of such things--embrace the advantages!

well now that would sort of be easy to find out but you have to do a bit of math work in your head.First find out how old you are, then take todays date and go back through time of how old you are now to when the number of your age runs down to the year that it stops and that would be the best guess of what year you were born in. I can't say exact date of birth but it would give you the year. shawn.k .eg, my birthdate:23,nov,1978 .take this number 1978 and subtact it from todays date 2006.

Do you know what state you were born in?..then call the State Board of Health in that state and you may have to go down personally and show some type of ID to get a copy of your birth certificate..I was born in another state and I called that state and they gave me instructions on how to obtain a copy of my birth certificate.

Cut your leg off and count the rings, like a tree.
No, don't do that really. The hospital you were born at / midwife who helped should have records if you can track them down. Otherwise, not really sure. May need to hire a profesional. Sorry I can't be more help. Let me know if you figure it out.

How old are you? take that away from 2006 and that's you year of birth. The date and month are the same each year (usually the day you get presents and BIRTHDAY cards!)
