the older the easier... not only do their faces give you more reference points (from lines in their face), but also their faces have more definable features, making it easier to put in "tell Tale" aspects of their face.

kids- because their skin's so soft and its difficult to mimic the softness if you dont have a very smooth surface. hard pencils can create good skintones for young kids, but the softer (4B and up) tend to make a grainy effect. also i find the head shapes kinda difficult, theyre very round an not in proportion, so ya drawing always look odd... but its actually the kids head thats odd =)

I think infants are hardest... with adults, there is such character to capture and with kids there is defining features... but infants... well it's just hard for me to capture youth... they always end up looking like an old person in a baby's body.

I would say old people because of wrinkles, but what do I know?

toddlers and kids- they won't stay still
elders- wrinkles
also, animals- they won't stay still either

the easiest is probably teens, adults, and babys.
