I'm curious. What does everyone think about the article published in Time magazine this week? The one about how the average American has fewer friends now than she/he did twenty years ago. Why do you all think this is occuring? What could be the cause?

What do you all think. I think our soilders have been brain washed to be cold and cruel and to kill on sight without thinking. The leaders of the military and government that developed these training techniques should be the ones on trial.

until last year we had a good GM who has taken our company to a great height. Due to some misunderstanding with the owner he was sacked. I look after the accounts and admin. and getting a very good salary + perks. NOw this company is slowly becoming sick and the business is slowly coming down as compared with previous year. I am really worried even though I get good salary in time. Could some body give me a good advise what will be my future. I have been working with this co.for last 7 years. Many thanks in advance for your advise

I do not have health insurance. I saw on Discovery Health that you could use leeches and a sewing kit to put them back on. I have the bleeding under control. I have a sewing kit in the attic. Where is a good place to catch leeches. Should I look under rocks and in the basement?

i had two ladies come right up on my property last sat, and they tried to preach the bible to me. i told them very politely that i was not interested. But they said they wanted to read me scripture anyway. i was kinda getting mad because i told them i was not interested but yet the persisted. Now i love god and i believe in jesus but i did not feel like i needed to be preached to. then they asked me what i thought of the war on terriorists. well i told them that i felt like it all stemmed from religions fighting with each other over who was the greatest. i told them we never should have gotten into this war ion the first place. and after i got finished explaining my point of view, they just sat there and stared at me. i was very nice when i explained my position and i don;t know why they were rendered speechless. but my point is if you are going to bother someone on a sat at their own home, you better be able to talk the talk, otherwise preach to someone else. what are your thoughts?

It is in this way that we must train ourselves: by liberation of the self through love. We will develop love, we will practice it, we will make it both a way and a basis, take our stand upon it, store it up, and thoroughly set it going.

If a mother decided two months into her pregnancy that she wanted to terminate her pregnancy, this is her government protected right. However, if an inebriated man drives his car unintentionally into the woman and the 2 month old fetus dies, he is charged with murder......why? I could understand him being charged with theft (stealing the life of the fetus from the mother) but why murder? Pro-abortionists live by the premise that a fetus is not an independent life.

I grew up very poor (not even running water) and I did well in school and didn't get into any trouble. People seem to think that if a person grows up poor that is an excuse for them to be criminals. All people are subject to the same moral laws and there is no free pass to poor people. There is no excuse to get into drugs or crime just because you are poor. There are alot of poor nations in the world where there isn't as much crime as in the U.S. These welfare families get everything handed to them for free (I have seen them buy all kinds of goodies at the grccery store while I buy generic and just the basic) and they walk out and get into their car while I carry heavy bags to the busstop. THese are the same people that are selling drugs in the parking lot and robbing people. I am still very poor myself but I don't resort to criminal activity as a solution. I don't blame my upbringing or the goverment.
