Whenever i am down about arguing with my girlfriend, I treat myself to a huge expensive dinner, i go somewhere by myslef that she hella wanted to do, and i buy myself something expensive, and just spend hella money on myself.
My girlfriend hates that, she thinks i'm trying to get back at her. But hey, i guess i am materialistic when i am down.

I am very guilty of that, but I treat myself to things I normally would not buy for myself. Sad thing is I gift wrap them and look surprised when I find them stacked about the place. "For me? Oh really, you shouldn't have."

That is very symptomatic of bipolar disease. But I just call it retail therapy; it's usually cheaper than seeing a therapist!
